About DemCap Analytics

DemCap Analytics is an interactive web-based platform and suite of educational resources designed to allow users to access and analyze hundreds of datasets from over 30 sources including the World Bank, IMF, Federal Reserve, and over a dozen think tanks. These datasets bring together a wide variety of metrics related to democracy, capitalism, and the intersection of the two.

The interactive tool offers access to 300+ datasets, multiple options for data visualization, and integrated data analysis tools.

A series of topic articles provide definitions of terms related to democracy and capitalism and videos featuring scholars and experts discussing the importance of these terms.

A suite of case studies, integrated with the interactive tool, are available for use in courses and the undergraduate and graduate levels.

DemCap Analytics was created by the Project on Democracy and Capitalism, a project of the Miller Center of Public Affairs.
